A financially cost effective alternative to replacing the floor
Now there is an alternative to replacing the existing worn out flooring. Our experience is that renovating a floor can save property owners at least 50% in comparison with the cost of replacing it.
In the majority of cases the old floor can be restored to mint condition. The renovated surface is at least as good quality as a newly manufactured floor if not better.
With the additional savings of materials and time, renovating offers the floor owner a huge saving compared to the alternative of completely changing the floor.
A commercial floor, renovated with UVElite RES, can therefore quickly contribute significant savings for all commercial environments.
Reduced impact on the environment
UVElite RES holds the environmental certifications Ecolabel and DIBT.
By renovating the floor, customers can save on materials, resources and energy, which are all beneficial to the environment. In addition, renovation is better for the user and customer in terms of air quality and indoor environment.
A renovation system free from the isocyanates used in conventional commercial lacquers, results in very low VOC emissions into the air. Couple that with the easy to clean surface, and it makes the system both safe to work with and it gives a clean and healthy working environment.
Reduced down time
The fastest PU re-coat system on the market.
UVElite is the fastest floor renovation system on the market, giving shops, restaurants and hotels less down time and thereby increasing business opportunities. A UVElite RES restored surface has full strength and can withstand heavy use immediately after curing.
Compare this with the conventional PUR treatments which take 3-7 days to be fully cured and you can see why floors owners and contractors alike are now seeing the possibilities of high quality, low-cost, rapid renovation of floors compared to the expensive and time -consuming option of replacement.
With this new UVElite RES renovation system, we can now renovate LVT, PVC and linoleum floors quickly and efficiently. Now floor owners need no longer wait for the holidays to bring their floor surfaces back to life.
A complete floor renovation can be completed in just one working day, or night.
Reduced maintenance costs
A floor renovation with UVElite RES minimises the need for waxing and polishing maintenance routines.
A renovated floor is easy to clean with basic cleaning methods. As with brand new flooring, the renovated surface is more durable, so the floors won’t need that layer of sacrificial polish. This provides a significant saving in maintenance costs in terms of both labour and material costs.
When cleaning a renovated floor, use exactly the same process as recommended for new linoleum or plastic PUR floors. Using neutral cleaning products applied sparingly with a machine or mop, the floor will have a longer life, beautiful appearance and will be easy to care for.
The refurbished floor’s surface is dirt-repellent and often stronger than the PUR on a factory finished floor so under normal conditions of use, the new surface coating will last for many years.
